Boys.

School aged boys read everything but general fiction first. They read sci fi, history, war, fantasy, cars, sports, animals, jokes and cartoons first.

However in schools, all they seem to read is General Fiction. I think it is true that for free time reading they seem to be able to choose what they would like. But for storytime, although they may like the story, the librarian or teachers seem to choose fiction books. I know they have to reach the whole class but...
